A few weeks ago in Wishaw my car broke down. It had been threatening to do so for a few weeks and it finally gave up at 10pm in Wishaw Old Parish Church's car park.
The car was in the garage for a number of days and I began to venture around Lanarkshire by train. Initially I thought of this as an inconvenience but as the days passed I realised that my pace of life had slowed and I had far more opportunity to read and just to think!
Since the car was returned I have decided to attempt to use the train when I can, rather than only when I have to, that involves better planning and taking more time to get to meetings. I am not sure how I will I get on with this - but I will give it at try, I need more space in my life!
