Bubblegum 'n' Fluff

I've had the privilege this week of spending two mornings with 60 primary 6 children as we explored Christmas together.

On Tuesday Rochsolloch Primary visited New Wellwynd Church, and today Golfhill Primary pupils were at Airdrie High Church.

The children laughed, listened, chatted, created, sang, and expressed their hopes and dreams as we unpicked all the "fluff" of Christmas to find the still "tasty" centre at the heart of our celebrations.

The children who come to bubblegum 'n' fluff have fun, they hear some of the stories of Jesus when he grew up, they have a positive experience in the church building, they get to know their chaplain, and some members of the congregation better, and go home with memories of what they discovered together about Christmas.

It's been great working with the chaplains of Airdrie and we've got more to look forward to next week, for me that means more Christmas wreaths to make!
